As long as it takes...

I'm happy doing LEJOG in 16 - 18 days. Others take 10 days. Five days is seen as a doable challenge by some cyclists. Gethin Butler saw 44 hours as his challenge....

Measure the distance and divide by your planned daily mileage then add a couple of days and you'll be in the right ball park.

Sorry if I'm stating the obvious.....

Hello Steve W

I've had the pleasure of doing NCN Route 7 from Wearside and Tyneside
as far North as Kenmore at the end of Loch Tay. I don't have the answer to "how long" as i don't know your bike type and abilties etc.
All I can say is that it's been great . My trip has been covering various sections at various times as opposed to one tour. I will cover the most Northerly end of the route at some point.
Enjoy it if you fdo it.

Highlights include ,Drymen thru to Callender , Nick o the Balloch ,
Hartside Pass area .

Fergal MacErlean wee book Lochs and Glens breaks down the the NCN 7 into timed sections between Carlisle and Inverness. Obviously this won't be much use south of Callander, but would be useful for the northern section.

A hirsute Scotsman.

Best advice I ever got was "better get a bike then"
Cycle commuting since 1994. Blog with cycle bits.
