Remember that BBC program about fitness and non-responders to VO2Max increase?

Well, now you can get the test done: XRPredict

So, who is going to get tested?
I was thinking about it, but I think I already know I am a medium responder, I will never be a top athlete, but I do improve a bit with exercise.

You might be a non-responder and your training is raising your lactate threshold letting you ride closer to your VO2 max for longer rather than raising your VO2 max. Fortunately for most of us there's a lot more to fitness than raising our VO2 max.

Or you could just do some HIIT for a few weeks and see what happens. Might save 300 quid and put it towards a power meter or a coach that knows what they are doing.
