One thing to point out is that it's blue  but has a nice pattern/ grip on the top & sides, certainly seemed well in the wet this morning. Obviously only one ride so can't comment on how long it will last. Last winter I ran a Vittoria Zaffiro, cost about £8 and lasted through winter.

Decathlon. 2 for £3. Only issue being you have to collect in store, and they don't have loads of stores.

Sounds as if there is a pattern here. Rubber failure followed by bulge

I had a look about a week ago but couldn't find anything. Could do a group London buy on a box of 50 I guess, works out at £2.10 each.

http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/road-track-bike/tubes-inner-continental-race-28-inner-tube-box-of-50/conttube475

Bit of a faff to organise but it is silly us all buying inner tubes individually for more really.

I tend to buy them in 25's, just ordered my second lot, they last a good few years for me and my gf

There is a cracking deal on these Bloc Sunglasses (with 3 lenses) at ProBikeKit - £12.55 (when using EXTRA5)

http://www.probikekit.com/uk/clothing/c ... asses.html

They usually retail for £25-£30!

That's too good not to try, found a code for 10% off, and went through quidco for another 5%, so if they arrive works out at less than £11 a pair - ordered one for my bro too.

Daniel B, what was the code you found for the additional 10 per cent off at Probikekit?
Their home page gives the code for 10 per cent off but you've got to spend over £70

Thanks

Hmmm - I don't know what the quality was like as you can't buy a decent T-shirt for 5 euro

This is a referral code so good for me, but even if you don't want to do a referral to me - half price for the best looking helmets out there (Catlike Whisper Plus) at Sports Pursuit at the moment: £81.80 inc P&P http://www.sportpursuit.com/join/mroli2003_0a6099

Althought you can get from velodrome shop for £100 http://www.velodromeshop.net/index.php?p=product&id=413

The normal price was about 30 euros if memory serves. I'm happy with them, though they're not a roadie cut. Decathlon seem to have discontinued merino baselayers. The website lists only merino pullovers.

If you search for techwool - that is what they call their merino.

Are the helmets any good? I had a look at a couple of reviews for the whisper and it seemed a bit rubbish, poor quality etc.
