You can pick up an old fridge freezer on Saturday.

One of the classics that was never broadcast for the Uxbridge English Dictionary:
Countryside; The murder of Piers Morgan.

It was definitely broadcast. In fact I have it on tape somewhere.

Tim Brooke-Taylor wasn't it?

I'll back that up. Definitely heard it go out.

Not as good as Jack Dee announcing "Samatha's colleagues in the record library have been encouraging her to apply for more senior positions, in an attempt to show that women can progress up the career ladder. She says it's nice that they want her to succeed and that it's not for any personal gain that they're supporting her. They'd just like to see her crack up through the glass ceiling."

Cue mayhem, then Dee shouting "defibrillator for Barry please".

Top programme, better than it was, with Jack Dee in charge.

Stephen Fry. I tried (and failed) to claim it as my own on another thread. :D

I stand corrected. A customer was at the recording and reckoned it was never broadcast.

Piers Morgan isn't really in a position to preach. I'm not sure how patriotic it is to use your newspaper to print fake 'abuse' photos that put British troops in danger....

But apparently he was moaning at people for being taken in by a fake (the "wiggins" tweet), so irony has died a death.

I rode my 2,000th mile to work this year this morning. It didn't rain, it wasn't windy, and nobody tried to knock me off/slap my bum/ask me to sit on their face. So, the perfect commute! :D

Lovely ride in, it's sunny. Oh, and I'm off on holiday for a fortnight tomorrow.
