The MTB enduro is a dusk-till-dawn, so the super-hardcore should be able to do both.

When will details of the Sprotive become available and how do you enter the Sportive?

A sportive is a challenging but non-competitive long-distance ride.

Entry details will be available in January.

Bmjboy - all will be revealed by the end of the month. The entry site for BikeRadar Live will go, ahem, live. We're just finalising the route for the Sportive - it's looking very nice indeed!

I'd like to let everyone know that the new East Midlands Parkway station is just opening tomorrow which will be a few minutes from donnington park with buses linking the airport (and perhaps the park on special days like this, music festivals, F1?) so for people who're willing to ride a couple of miles on very busy road or maybe get minibuses transporting them as taxis each way, it means you can now stop off there on the main london st pancras to derby line, and from birmingham/manchester, just switch at derby and it's a 13-14 minute ride. Might be of some use to people wanting to come up without the gridlock that you'll find on the A453 since it's such an old/windy/slow road :)

I think Im going to enter one of the enduro's, but will my pit bunny need to buy a ticket also, or does the entry cover a helper. Cheers.

Ps when I say pit bunny I mean wife, who has little interest in bikes, and who's presence would be only to make sure I survive and dont spend any money.

Cheaper entries

Postby Blackhound » Mon Feb 09, 2009 21:23 pm

Are they still available. Typing in 06sp02 but saying it is not valid. Not 11th yet either so wondered if 500 places had gone.
