Loads of people on super expensive bikes. To get dropped at some point. To have fun. Hear loads of people shouting 'f**king hell and hold your line' . Loads of dodgy riders. Lots of pace changes.

You'll love it.
Just be aware of who is around you and don't suddenly change direction.
Pace will vary from about 18 mph to 35 mph and it will average out about 24 mph. Just dig in when the speed goes up and find a good wheel.

Do a search on here, its been asked many times.

Or look at the many blogs in the 4th cat threads, plenty of advice and accounts out there.
