Totally agree, but that's the problem, people don't take it at face value. You end up with a situation of 'he said this, therefore...........'. It's the 'therefore' bit which may or may not be correct.

As far as the police officers are probably concerned, the issue isn't that he called them plebs etc. It's that he's calling them liars.

One institution known to tell lies when it suits versus another, with people taking the side that suits their political bias. Meanwhile the rest of us await something more interesting to read about.

Paranoia "security" seems the excuse to prevent everything these days.

Did the copper really feel insulted or was he just playing the political correct card to have a pop back at the mp ?
