MTB Hot Lap Results Posted Anywhere?

Postby mab_baker » Mon Jul 12, 2010 09:34 am

Does anybody know if and where the MTB hot lap results are posted?

Nobody was able to give times during the actual event, other than top 5 fastest times. I was then told I could get them from the registration tent, but they didn't have them. I was then told they'd be posted online almost immediately and I can't find them still - could be me not looking in the right places though!

Can't find them online yet, but I did manage to get mine from the registrations tent in the end.

Thanks for that, I guess they must have appeared in the registration tent on Sunday. I tried after the hot laps on Saturday as they were closing the tent up behind me and they didnt have them at that point. Hopefully they'll appear later on somewhere.

Yeh, I did the Hotlaps on Sat evening too, checked the results about 1pm on Sun.

I guess they'll appear at some point over the next day or 2.

I did the track (procycling) hot laps but also could not find any results, like you I asked at the info tent who did not have them but directed me to another tent who also did not have them but told me they would be online by the time I get home. Looked online but cannot find them and I'm keen to know my time.

Our problem was the races finishing after clean-up had started (literally all hands on deck) which makes posting results rather difficult. Not to mention also trying to cover the biggest stage of this year's Tour de France.

I hope to rectify this for next year. Wish me luck :)

Not sure if this helps or is even feasible Jeff, but earlier in the year when taking part in one of the HumanRace triathlon events they had a computer terminal connected to the timing system that was receiving live data. Competitors could wonder by after their events and using a small numeric keypad could punch in their bib number. A till receipt sized printer would then print out all the relevant timing information.

I appreciate though that their timing system was in a fixed place all weekend whereas yours was probably taken apart and reassembled for each of the different events.

They're still not up there. The write up for the dirt crits is there, but at the bottom it says full results including the WMTB hot laps to follow.

Hopefully tomorrow!

Any news on the WMTB hot lap results yet? Still can't find them and the message at the bottom of the dirt crit write up that said yesterday "results to follow including WMTB hot laps" has also gone.

The brief results we have on the site are accurate but the full results we were given are not so we can't post. We are trying to sort that out.
