see they are doing the fashionable thing of riding on the red line on the straights, I am not convinced this is better than riding black line whoe lap.

nope but do team and individual pursuit and tried this and saw no benefit, one of these fads I guess that comes around now and again.

A fad? :roll: Don't post rubbish. It's called 'ovalising the track' and there's benefit if you know how to make use of it... :wink:

the benefit of going on the red on the straight to drop into the bank is negated by the meter or two extra you do. The drop is so minimal anyway. We tried this and did not see any difference in times.Some teams do it some dont, not many individuals do it and certainly not sprint TT's that I have seen. Maybe you can enlighten me how to make use of it :-)
