 thanks!! Glad that's fixed before the maiden voyage... just when I'd got the hang of rebuilding my roadie, I had to get a FG and start again!

Thought I'd put mine up,

Just finished his week, my commute is 17 miles each way, all the climbing on the way home!

Currenly running a 75GI but looking to move up to 80GI for some strength training.

And yes, that really is the paint job! I thought it was banned after he 90's MTB era!

How I get to work. It's slow but it's a short ride, only two and a bit miles.
I go through a park and sometimes the gate is shut and I have to lift it as it won't fit through the pedestrian hole (I don't think they're called pedestrian holes but the word escapes me), it's heavy.

I'm not sure how I feel about the coaster brake, might change it for a normal hub brake. Might swap the front hub for a SA one with brake and dynamo. Might get one of these racks for it:

Right....so where can I get one of these front racks from?

The little one, erm, dunno, I got mine from East Coast Bikes in Hull. I found out today it makes a passable aero bar.

The big one, Brick Lane Bikes import them.

Yeah, I've still not got round to getting one.
My friend got some old apple crates to use as shelves in her shop for £3 each. I might try making one into a front rack.

Bontrager stuff from the LBS, it's a bit more orangey than the previous yellow tape, possibly ITM.

Not doing much commuting as such at the moment, but this is the tool for the job. Completely hooligan thing to ride...

That's the stuff I had before, it's less orange so will probably be a better match for the chainstays.

Gone from bull horns, to road drops back to bull horns and added a load of black 3m tape.

This bike has nearly broken me in after 1,600 miles.
