They're looking to go Pro Conti next year apparently. Signed Konovalovas too.

And Jack Bobridge looking like he's off from OGE to Rabo, mid-contract. Make of that what you will.

Wonder what Renshaw will do then? He's spectacularly underperformed this Season.

He signed for Rabo, what did he expect.

The Bobridge to Rabo story is interesting. He hasn't scored a single CQ ranking point on the road this year. Or maybe he just got wind of the YMCA lip sync video that they are planning for next season.

Kreuziger, nice.

Big Riis and the Saxo soldiers will be cleaning up next year.

So much for talk from some about doping scaring sponsors away.

Saxo Powerhouse.

When one of your title sponsors says "Take whatever you like just don't get caught" you know they've got a different view on doping

Christ, if ever there was a post that left a door wide open for the inevitable responses, it was that one of Frenchie's...

Sorry, but what is CQ ranking?

But wouldn't a Pro rider be more worried about that their World Tour ranking is?

Am I missing something?

If I understand it correctly, the CQ Ranking is a more accurate arbiter of a rider's performance over a season than WT points.

OK, fair enough. But it's not an official ranking that is used by anyone?

No, I don't believe so.

WT points are the big thing for the teams and sponsors, hence why we always have to sit through Nico Roche's battle for another glorious tenth place on GC. CQ ranking is a better measure of a rider's performance overall through the season and certainly a better measure for fans.

Cqranking is also a brilliant resource.

Can't the UCI use independent anti-doping controls?
Can't the UCI help women's cycling?
Can't the UCI all just resign and let somebody else take over?

Interestingly (or probably not to anybody else) whilst looking for some random info I noticed that the UCI Europe Tour rankings haven't been updated since June.
