Another call for Enduro 1 Marshalls....

OK guys, can you help out here? Enduro 1 on the 14th October still needs some more marshalls for the Swinley round. It will take up an afternoon, and I am hosting a Drinks/Food/Fix your bike in my workshop session at my place afterwards for anyone that helps out. So, if you can (and I know you can really) please do let me know ASAP. What an offer eh? If you've got parts you want to fit to your bike, or it just needs a quick service, then you can save yourself the time, effort & money and get it done at my place while enjoying a free beer and food post-marshalling banter with friends. What more could you want?

Let me know if you can help.

Thanks
Ben

I'm not sure if I'm around that weekend, at the moment. What does "marshalling" involve?

Also: finally back on the bike this Sunday, anyone up for a ride somewhere?

I'm not going to lie, it involves a clipboard, pen, and stopwatch most likely, standing around in swinley for three or four hours and getting a bit cold. But! It will help someone out who is doing grassroots racing in a fun and friendly format that promotes mountain biking and isn't his living.

You forgot to mention the hot pit girls in bikinis, the amoral groupies, meeting world famous riders, the after party with unlimited blow and hookers etc.*

Well, I know of at least one ex-national DH champ that is racing that day... does that qualify as famous?

Being brutally honest. I would rather be riding than marshalling. So thats what i'll be doing. Probably in Wales.

Hope all goes well and its a top event.

Going to be at Swinley this Sat for a Clubhouse area session. Definitely no XC loops or any of that, I'll just be sessioning that area. Anyone up for it?

Also Ben I will help out if I can (and take you up on the offer of a once over on the bike after and a beer ;)) but at the moment I've planned a weekend in Brighton but it's not 100%. I'll let you know if it doesn't happen and I'll help for sure.

B) You left off a vital 's'... Dirty weekend with my boyfriends. It's going to get really weird down there...

Alright everyone. I'm planning a ride round Swinley Forest if anyone's up for it.

Saturday 10.30am @ Go Ape Gate.
