Campag 12-30 10 speed cassette

Postby hammerite » Wed Oct 03, 2012 12:23 pm

Got a new to us cross bike for Jnr, he'll only use the 34 ring. But I need to put a new cassette on it and was looking for 12-30.

I know there's a new Centaur cassette coming out any time soon, but it's RRP is £90 and ideally I'd like to spend a bit less.

Miche do 12-29
BBB do 13-29

Does anyone know of any other options?

Standard Campag rear mechs will only work with a maximum 29 teeth cassette. The new 30 tooth cassettes will be compatible with a redesigned rear mech.

Miche cassettes are ok, not as smooth shifting as the Chorus cassette but work just fine.

Thanks for the advice, I went with the Miche 12-29 option.
