Just done the length of Wales from Valley on Angelsey to St Athan in the South. I have to say that smashing along and empty A55 at 0430 was amazing, as was the climbing and descents through Snowdonia as the sun came up, particularly Pen-y-Pass. Most upsetting section was the Craig climb out of Pontypridd - the hill that kept on giving!!
The route of the Peak District epic Sportive, but done on a quiet Sunday morning. 63 miles with 7,300ft of climbing, starting and finishing in Bakewell. Tough but rewarding with super quiet roads and fantastic scenery along the way.
Port Pollenca to Cap Formentor with its new surface. Smooth as silk, great scenery and a couple of decent climbs.
