Where did you ride today?

Got a general MTB question that doesn't fit anywhere else? Here's the place.

Hit the trails around Woburn today, early doors, with my brother. Bloody brilliant and considering the weather we've had here in the last week, the trails held up very well. Also found some new bits - always a pleasant suprise.

Lee and Cragg Quarries. Grim weather and only saw one other biker, but really good fun. Cragg back to Lee on the link path with about 15m visibility was fun.

I rode a static bike and watched the snow fall through the window. Static bike was sad but snow made me glad.

Whinlatter Blue and South Loop of the Red. Great fun, but all weather conditions were experienced.

Just back from innerleithen- night downhilling, as warmup for a night race on saturday. It's quite an awful idea, this night-downhill lark

Lee and Cragg again, second time this week. Much better conditions and a few more people about, although incredibly windy. I think my favourite bit is the last couple of hundred metres of Cragg, to the point where I did the first section of the figure 8 twice - I'm not one for getting too airborne as a rule, but it just feels really natural there and the gap between tyres and ground was much bigger than I'd normally be comfortable with.

I always do that last bit at Cragg a few times, gets me set up nicely for the run back down to Lee.

No riding for me today but did a night ride around Rivington last night. I'm sure it was trying to snow.

Today was a lap of Golspie. Sunshine and warmth apart from a wind blast right at the top!

Night downhill race at innerleithen today. Obviously a terrible idea, but absolutely brilliant.

I can't abide pushing up, but it was made more fun when part of the path froze solid and became almost impossible to walk up without falling on your arris

Just had a go at the Highland Wildcat trails in Golspie. I live about 30 minutes away, but today was the first time I had a chance to go there.

It was awesome!!!!

The climbing was rather difficult, but the downhill was amazing. It was quite scary at times (I was riding a hardtail with a dodgy rear axle) but good fun!

Road - Dolan Preffisio

I have no idea what's going on here.

Rode Ben Aigan, the Bunny then spin city. Got covered in mud due to massive puddles but at least it wasn't raining :)

I had planned on visiting a trail centre this weekend and after finding out that Sherwood Pines is closer to me than Gisburn I thought I'd give it a go. Good lord I've never seen a trail centre so busy! The routes were okay and nice and flowy in places. I'm not sure about the red being graded as a red though!

Chiltern Ridgeway - Stonor, Christmas Common etc. Probably the wettest days riding I've ever had. Still pretty good fun though!

Gisburn today for me. Did a fast lap of the red followed by sessioning the hope line. Was hoping for a PB on the red but due to the early start the boardwalk sections were sheet ice. Couldn't even walk on them never mind ride them. Was only 2mins out so I think I would have beaten my best time  Managed to get round in 1hr 21 so not to bad. Then went onto the hope line and went up and down that 10 times so its fair to say I'm bloody knackerd now !
