Wiggins burns on bonfire

Postby TheBigBean » Tue Nov 06, 2012 10:59 am

I was at Lewes bonfire last night and was surpised to see that one of the effigies was Wiggins along with two others. Normally, the effigies are popular hate figures (Michael Gove was another effigy being burnt last night), so I was surprised to see Wiggins. Can anyone identify the other characters and the story? It is meant to be obvious!

All i'm seeing is Brad Wiggins sodomising Kryten from Red Dwarf, while my ex girlfriend does the YMCA behind them.

I've drunk a lot of coffee this morning.

The female one could be Jodie Marsh possibly? Probably wrong though...

Apparently it was a typo in an email sent between the organisers, they were supposed to be blaming Wiggle

I know nothing really of the Lewes bonfire parade, but have found out.... Red and white uniform of Wally http://www.lewesbonfirecouncil.org.uk/s ... index.html

Need to ask these why Bradley Wiggins was chosen - http://www.waterloobonfire.co.uk/

I thought it was South Street Bonfire Society, but lady in red and white in front is definitely Waterloo.

Some folk on twitter have said it is Geri Halliwell and Wiggins stamping on Pier Morgan riding on an Olympic union flag taxi. Makes no sense to me!

It is a bit hazardous, but it is a lot fun if you are not involved in a hazard.

That's the parade where they carry anti-Papist burning crosses through the streets.

They're a bit weird, that lot.

Le Commentateur - part of it supposedly commemorates seventeen Protestant martyrs from the town burnt at the stake by Catholics. The event has been going on for a few years...

They don't just burn any old catholic - that would be a bit weird.

Well I think the strawberry blonde is Arial from the Little Mermaid if that helps?

What? Nope?

But I am pleased that I have managed to locate Wally and the Ku Klux Klan.
