Bought as a second bike alongside my carbon hardtail. Never got on with it, sold it after 6 months.

One of these, but they came with mango coloured Manitou X-Vert forks to match the swingarm...

It actually still gets used, but all the parts except the frame have been replaced.

A GT XCR4000, but in black. Bought from Pauls Cycle at discount for £800. Sometime around 2000.

That. But mine was the original fully polished one. Circa '96? Frame is available for sale if anyone wants it.

When I get my first FS I'll post a pic.......I suppose strictly speaking I had a cheap 'British Eagle' (more like a Turkey!) FS as it came in a pile of bikes/bits when I bought my Kraken, but it didn't stay long!

My first full suss was a stunning piece of BSO purchased from no other than. ASDA! OH YES, a sarasota trail in black with red rear end, weighed about 40lb haha, i still remember dropping it in at the lbs for a headset, owner had been dealing with an xtr clad beauty and then picked mine up, poor bugger nearly put his back out!

Ended up buying a new frame from him that day and starting my biking obsession
Timmo.

I remember that was the 'official' way of getting disc brakes on old Spesh FSRs too...
