Stiff race Frames

Postby JGSI » Sun Nov 11, 2012 16:17 pm

Anyone any suggestions on suitably stiff race frames - whatevr material - that can take di2?
Frames that have been raced tested preferably.
Budget... well under 1k would be nice.
Comfort .... aint bothered.

Theres a Supersix Hi mod in the classifieds for £850. 54cm. I would have had it but I just got a Basso Astra frameset.

Not sure about the Di2 (cable ties needed  ?), but would personally look at:

Scuro RS (bit of a bargain at P-X at the moment)

or

Dolan Ares

For some good stiff race frames. Or stretch the budget to a Trigon RQC-29 (my frame and I love it).

In reply to my own post!

The Dolan Ares SL can take electronic stuff:
