YT Wicked 150 Ltd (Now named Steffi)

Postby VWsurfbum » Wed Nov 14, 2012 13:13 pm

Well the new stead arrived. Lots of lovely bling.
Only been up and down the car park at work, want to hit the gravity stuff sooner rather than later but still fighting off the man flu.
There's a bully's star prize in it for the best name suggestion keeping withing the theme of my other bikes.
anyway here's some pictures

nice, I was toying with getting one but opted for the 160 ltd as I thought this one may be a little too lightweight. Lot's of bike for the money though

Looks nice.

If you have to give it a name I'd go for Jimmy Saville.

Dusk, i liked the 160 but the weight was that much more as was the price (which wasnt really a point when i ordered it)
EH_Rob, Jimmy was a bloke and not in keeping with the theme? Did he touch you or something?

Oh, I thought the theme was giving inanimate objects human names. Just me being silly I guess.

So i just spent 40 mins setting the sag properly etc.
WOW completely different bike to the one that i rode this morning. You know when its right. amazing.

2 things though, the grips are horrid and i'll be oredering some new ones in a min.
and the reverb sticks about 3/4 way on the way up. hopefully this will free up?

Even though the 160 ltd is a bargain this one is ridiculous, similar spec in terms of RRP but 500 euro cheaper :o

I only went for the 160 as I want to replace my dh bike but still be able to ride up hills!

I'll be interested to hear how you get on, and maybe i'll order some new grips just in case.... :?

i think its the price of the BOS suspension that pushes the 160 up.
How you getting on with it?
My maiden voyage will be on sunday, so i'll let you know.
