I don't know why this is on the cycling beginners forum but.

After watching lots of Jackie Chang films I did Ryu Shotokan Karate for a while.

I found

1. I'm not supple enough for the kicks.
2. In a year I didn't actually learn much. Maybe 5 or 6 basic moves over and over again.
3. All the stances are stress positions and so uncomfortable.
4. I'll never be like Jackie Chang in a pub.

If you ride a bike a lot you'll have trouble kicking high.Not sure what this has to do with cycling :-)
