Sort of related - going through your pockets before putting trousers in the wash and finding a tenner. Result!

I also quite like a nice clean shave with no cuts. Nothing better than looking in the mirror and having something resembling a baby's bum shine back.

Finding a tune you've not heard for years on Youtube.
Particularly one as good as this:-

As a rugbyman, watching my Welsh team-mates going into total meltdown following this evening's defeat by Samoa.......following on from their baiting following England's dismal performance in last year's World Cup I can only say.....karma's a biatch ain't it??!!

Successive lights on green.

A good cup of strong tea on a hot day when a long forgotten tune comes on the radio reminding me of good times past.

Homemade Shepherds Pie for tea.

An uninterrupted power nap

An unexpected glimpse of [a woman's] thigh or cleavage.

Solving a cryptic clue.

The first snowdrops.

That day in the middle of March when you step outside and can actually feel a smidge of warmth from the sun, which then leads to the first mowing of the lawn and the smell of freshly-cut grass...

Long winter rides when it's damn cold but because you've got your kit / layering just right you're pleasantly warm all the way round.

Seeing apostrophes used correctly on an internet forum
- and feeling superior to people who mangle them.

Better check this very carefully before posting.

Did I get the apostrophe in the right place!?!?

Still managed to spell bloody 'rustling' incorrectly though. Goddamnit!

Arguing with Camilly Tominey about that article she wrote regarding cyclists cheers me up no end. Why she responds to baiting comments on her Facebook and Twitter pages I have no idea.

Fully charged ipad/phone/laptop
When my gf has a shower running for me just as I finish on the turbo/come back from a ride
When new bits arrive for the bike
Fully stocked fridge, freezer and cupboards
A cigarette with a glass of red wine after an amazing meal
That feeling of accomplishment after finishing a huge dump - all men know what I mean
Out on the golf course on a warm day knowing there's a cold pint waiting for me at the 19th (even happier if I'm playing well too!)
Whenever my dog wags his tail
Seeing a puppy
Being warm and wrapped up when there's a storm outside

A perfect upshift on the rear cassette, putting you at just the right cadence/effort.
Catching a pretty girl's eye.
When you blow on a fire and it really gets it roaring.
The smell of freshly cut grass.
The pop of a wine cork.

Dining out and discovering there's more than one veggie option on a menu. Furthermore realising it doesn't involve ******* cheese.
