Postby rozzer32 » Fri Dec 07, 2012 12:49 pm

After a set of decent skewers so want to get a pair of Shimano one's

Looking at 105 or Ultegra level. I can't find anywhere that stocks them or actually has them in stock.

Anyone know anywhere that sells them?

Aren't you looking for a set of hand built wheels? Just get them on Shimano hubs and the skewers will come with them...
For a cheap fix, you can get the MTB Deore ones... they are perfectly fine and if the thread is too long for your likes, file it off a few mm

I am indeed but won't be looking at getting wheels until after Christmas, end of January more likely. But at the moment I'm using light weight skewers with the external cam and they're pretty crap. So want to get some decent shimano ones and then when I get my wheels with Shimano hubs I'll have a set of Shimano skewers for them too :)

Cheers Ugo just bought one :D

Think bike-discount is the cheapest for a front. £15 for a Ultegra 6700 one.
