Turner 5 Spot, resprayed, rebushed & rebuilt

Postby jaysonski » Fri Dec 14, 2012 10:59 am

This is a christmas present ive built up for my Girlfriend, proper labour of love as ive always wanted one of these for myself so took my time & just finished it in time! I was impressed how easy to the frame was to strip & rebuild & say a big thank you to Dave Marsh at Universal Cycles at Maltby for repainting the frame & rockers for me!

The red isn't too my taste but it looks like a lot of effort has gone into it!

Personlly if it's garish in your face colours, I love it. I think there's too much stealth black and bog standard colour schemes - love it when people get original!!

I couldnt agree more, most bike these days look the same, all hydroformed swoopy tubes, the only way to get original is with colour, i went a 'bit mad' with my last 2 build's for myself as you can see! :D

I really want one of these frames. I tried one and they are a great ride. Just waiting for a large 2008 or later one to turn up on ebay or in the classifieds.

Nice! I really love those crankbro's wheels!

Now it's not an MTB (I don't have one at the moment  )....but this is my SS for commuting - my kind of colour scheme to a ''T'' Hoping to on a similar colour binge for my Cotic when I get the frame in the new year

Lol, will do! Can't wait to get it ordered, been waiting too many years to do it. It'll be a slow build mind, but worth it in the end!
