Selling my soul...

Postby gtvlusso » Wed Dec 19, 2012 11:05 am

In light of the 'ebay groan' thread and ebay charges;

Where is the best place to sell bike stuff? I have a shed full of stuff that needs to go - wheelsets, Cinelli alter stems, frames......

A plethora of bits of kit!

Gumtree?

Bike jumble?

Just missed your local one, but I'm sure there's others.

Never a hardship going to the Mud Dock either.

Alternatively, the classified section on here.
1997 Giant Peloton 7200 - FCN 4 (5 if it looks like rain)
1985 Mercian King of Mercia - work in progress (Hah! Who am I kidding?)
1980s BSA 10sp

I am not going to recommend a method but I would suggest that waiting till Spring may reap higher rewards.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

As a buyer, I favour the classifieds on slowtwitch (although mostly US users there) and weightweenies (may be a min post count there before you can advertise - not sure).
Swim. Bike. Run. Yup, that's definitely what I'm supposed to be doing.

Bike 1
Bike 2
Bike 3
