Pursuit Road Race?

Postby samg123 » Sun Dec 30, 2012 21:33 pm

Looking at entering this (the 4th cat only entices me ;) ) But i'm not entirely sure what a pursuit entails? Or even if it's just a name for a standard race...

Any insights?

It's a standard race.

4s go off first and the others chase them down :-)
give it a go its great fun and you don't have to worry about traffic :-)

I know the 4s are likely to be a little slower, but a 4 hour head start?!?! ;)

For this yr, to allow more entrants in the main race, the 4ths have been given their own separate race, with no other cats hunting you down.
In the main race - the juniors go off first, followed by 3rds, 2nds etc etc and within each cat they ll further spilt it down. the idea being that come the last lap the main field is all together, ready for a massed sprint to the finish.

(I speak as a 4th cat myself)
