Frame Guidance

Postby duncan.willey » Sat Nov 03, 2012 18:56 pm

Hello,

My dad has a bianchi pista 57cm track frame (with wheels) that he has barely ever used and no longer wants. He has moved to the peaks and the hills are too big or his legs are too weak!!! It is silver with rainbow colour decals. Seems lovely and light to me but too big for me (gutted)

He has asked me to sell it but I am in to mountain biking and don't have the faintest idea what it is worth. I don't want to get ripped off so I was hoping someone might be able to suggest what sort of price I should be looking for. I looked on ebay but i couldn't tell what it was comparable to.

It looks like this one but was bought 3 years ago so i am not sure its the same thing.

Thanks in advance for help,

Dunc

Not very helpful but what a great looking bike, I've just bought my fisrt track bike a Chas Bland built frame, I wanted to get a look like this on my frame polished and laquered, was told it can't be done.

Can anybody recommend somebody that can as I don't like can't.

Cheers

They hold their value quite well as the chrome one is quite sought after. I think realistically if it is in good nick you could get 4-500 for it.

Put it on the classifieds here and if you over price it, people will tell you.
