Online Game Shop

Postby ddraver » Mon May 06, 2013 21:07 pm

Evening all

What is the new equivalent of GAME online (or similar) Now. I want to buy some older PC games as I'm off back to the desert soon and need to entertain myself

Found a Medal of Honour best of which is old enough to work on my laptop and was also thinking of an NHL 200X game which was somewhat of a childhood favourite of mine....

I really really am not a gamer so I need nice and simple things that just involve shooting germans or hitting Canadians

Thanks
DaveK

For a a PC/Laptop i recommend going for strategy games. They are cheap, really really fun (IMO) and easy to run.

Have a look at:

Command and Conquer - Tiberian Sun.
Age of Empires 3

Age of Empires 3 especially is a brilliant game, and you can get expansion packs for it once youve completed the actual game.

Look at this on Amazon: The whole set with all the expansion packs for just shy of a tenner. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Age-Empires-III ... +empires+3

For shooting Germans, its gotta be Call of Duty World at War. Best campaign on call of duty games by a country mile.

Thanks boys, exactly what I need...

Added CoD to the Medal of honour box set (7 squids) and EA 2008 (5 squids)

Should make the desert much more enjoyable!

Steam? Tons of cheap (and free) games and no need to carry tons of discs.

If you havent heard of it, its a digital download program.
