Easily done, Dave - they are so, so close. And so much fun to be had in such a condensed area if you choose!

I could easily be persuaded to go to Dumyat or Cambusbarron after work.

Just west of stirling. Its really, really good and won't be there for much longer. You're right about Dumyat, its more rocky than Ben Cleugh and there is more technical interest on the climb. The various woods east of the hill have good trails too. StuartM knows them better than me.

Best bet for the above would be to hook up with some of the Stirling Bike Club guys for a guided tour. [:)]

I think you should all come to the Standing Order on Thursday night to discuss where and when these rides are gonna happen [;)]

I'm not going to make it tomorrow night ... knee is a tiny bit sore, and I'd much rather rest it for Morzine ... the last time my knee felt like this I went and did a 24 hour race and it took about 6 months to recover!

I'm just being over cautious ... as I'd be really annoyed if I couldn't enjoy the amazing trails of Morzine just for the sake of yet another ride around Innerleithen!

In all seriousness, nope, not jealous at all. I don't have the right bike, nor much balls/skill, for what they have in mind in Morzine.

Just do feel a bit awkward about crashing into Stuart on Saturday...

Don't feel awkward ... it's my stupid knees that are at fault!

But yes if you could damage Hamish, Jonny, StuW and the others that would be appreciated!
