Carbon for induced brake judder?

Postby rowlers » Mon Oct 08, 2012 17:10 pm

after some general advice/info.

I bought a Tapered carbon fork from (abaygoods) and fitted to my Ribble gran fondo a few weeks back. Ever since I have had brake judder in heavy front breaking.
I have checked and double checked everything - it still wobbles.
So could it be that the fork is simply not suitable for the frame? (I bought the correct rake etc...)
The next thing I'm going to do is swap the fork out for my original Fondo fork and see if the issue goes.
Anyone offer any insight into frame/for compatibility?

At this point I'm more inclined to leave the fondo fork on and start looking for a full matched frameset!
cheers
