Kona Smoke Hybrid - advice

Postby jefflad » Mon Nov 05, 2012 16:36 pm

during a lunchtime break I was in discussions about not wanting to use my good bike commuting during the winter with all the crap on the roads. He suggested I get his mates bike, the smoke and use that, however I've never heard or seen this bike andf know very little about it... It's circa 2005 in working order and he wants £70-£80.

My thinking is use this and then sell on in April/May and get my cash back, so my question is, is this a decent price or a dud? I'm guessing I should but there was no negotiation and am thinking is this too good to be true?

thanks in advance J

If in working order and fits, go for it, nice frame, great fork and some good parts.

Yeah, it was mainly the re-sale value I was worried about... mainly as I'm a tight so and so

I see the forks go for 35 quid on ebay, so don't worry about resale! just check it all works nicely.
