new tyres needed

Postby mervzila » Sun Nov 18, 2012 18:34 pm

Seems my gatorskins have spit down the side.

Any recommendations for an all year tyre at an affordable price would be welcome...

Thanks

My experience of these so far has been very positive - nothing like the softness I encountered with Pro 3 Race, plus this is a fab bargain in my opinion:

Have they split or has a bit of beading come away which a can happen with gatorskins and gives the same appearance.

I have Specialized Roubaix tyres, light and very easy to fit. Work well in all conditions. Liked them so much I got a set for a my second bike too.

Vittoria zaffiro's are bombproof, inflate to 145 psi and are about £8 each, unbeatable.

145 psi! Christ, it must be like riding on those solid wheels they had on bikes when I was a kid!
