Hello Everyone,

I have been out of the biking world for a few years but now im starting back up, but having been out for a while i have lost track of the components and whats best

I have been looking at 2 bikes which are below my budget is £850 and i want to get the bike with the best components for my price.

Any advice would be gladly recieved. :-)

I'll leave someone else to comment on the bikes, but if that is your real email address you're using as a username you might want to reconsider.

Definitely take a look at the radons http://www.bike-discount.de/shop/k1830/ ... ml?mfid=52 if you're prepared to buy off bike discount.de they're superbly specced bikes.

I'd be discounting that Felt straight away. The Cube versus the Radon is a more difficult decision - both good value for money.

I have a Cube that's a similar spec to the one you linked to, except it has a RS Reba fork. It's a lovely bike, easy on the climbs (which is important to me because I live in the mountains) and also handles the descents better than I expected.

My OH has just bought the Radon that Greer linked to, and is saying the same things as I'm saying about my Cube.

IMO you wouldn't go wrong with either of those.

Having owned a Cube LTD for 18 months, prior to someone else deciding they wanted it from locked up outside the local supermarket, I would strongly recommend going for one. I have nothing to offer in comparisons with the Felt sadly but can only tell you that the Cube was a very quick solid bike that was easy on the ups and comfortable on the twisty stuff and even a bit of playing in the local Woburn jump park was well within its capabilities.

I have the cube ltd race in ano black and after a few initial problems with the brake set up the bike is now spot on. A good all round bike, I use it to commute, ride trails and specialised off road tracks and it copes with all 3 without a problem. Go with the cube I'd say :D
