TT helmet for big head

Postby dannyb54 » Wed Dec 26, 2012 11:55 am

Hopefully someone can help me... Looking for a TT helmet to use in triathlons this summer (including an ironman). I recently bought a Lazer Tardiz (size large) but it seems to sit on top of my head and only covers half my ears. It's fine for width just not enough height.

Has anyone else has a similar problem or can recommend a better fitting helmet? Cheers

I wear a 62cm in motorbike helmets and I found the Giro Advantage to be the best fit for me

I've a particularly large head as well, and also have a giro advantage. Worth trying it on before buying though.

The Spuik aero helmet is pretty big and worth trying on if you can.

I have one of them and worn for the Ironman twice. The Giro Advantage I tried (size L) pressed quite onto my ear lobes and took a bit of effort to fit properly.

Guess head shape also plays a part.
