Carbon Frame repair - ballpark price?

Postby Squillinossett » Fri Jan 11, 2013 16:07 pm

My 2011 Giant TCR frame got damaged last year, fortunately the insurance company let me keep the old bike and all the parts while sending me a 2012 Comp 1 (cheers AA)

Anyway, was going to send this off to carbon repairs as I'm sure I will find a use for the frame. I am just wondering if anyone has an idea on cost prior to sending. a rough estimate will suffice.

Also any suggestions on companies is welcome, I was thinking of using http://www.carboncyclerepairs.co.uk

The damage is on the seatstay.

I would think emailing a photo to any repair shop would get you a general estimate. Certainly worth repairing as you will have a bike as good as new if done properly.

Yellow is the new Black.
