That'll be worth going to see, I'm in !

Mind you, does that mean they'll be flying the Italian flag over City Hall ? Given its colours, I can foresee a potential problem

Google "Willie Frazer Italian flag"

Anyway, I have about as much in common with those super athletes as I do with Hitler, but there's no way I will be missing this! (unless some prat phones in a bomb scare)

Out of interest (rather than ego), why not more interest in this thread?

No interest in Pro Cycling?
No interest in the Giro v the Tour?
No interest in travelling to Ireland?
Put off by the present unrest?

I think it'll be great. Contemplating a trip over to Dublin, although it may be tricky finding hotels...

Is it not just speculation at the moment?

I for one would go, two grand tour starts on your doorstep in 3 months isnt going to happen very often.

It's official - and based in Belfast

Precise stage details will be confirmed at a later point, but the start and finish of day one will take place in the region’s capital, beginning at Titanic Quarter and finishing at Belfast City Hall.

Day two will also run from Belfast to Belfast, starting and finishing at those same venues. Day three on Monday May 12h will begin at The Mall in Armagh and cross the border en route to a finish in Dublin City Centre.
