Condor Bivio X

Postby mroli » Wed Jan 16, 2013 00:20 am

Condor Bivio X in club colours.

Sram Rival shifters and group,
Apex Cyclocross chainset,
Avid BB7 Road disc brakes 160 front 140 back
Deda Zero stem (120 - will go shorter for cross riding)
Deda RHM bars
Fizik seatpost, Arione saddle
Jagwire pink cabling (bit lairy)
Velocity Aerohead A23s and Novatec disc hubs clad in Michelin Mud 2s (built by the good Ugo Santalucia of this parish)
Shimano SPD pedals

Not weighed, but not a lightweight - not intended to be, it is the bike that enables me to go n-a couple, will do me as a winter bike/a tourer/a child carrier and a cross bike. Just need to get it (very) dirty now...

Very nice indeed. I really like the RC team colours.

Enjoy :D

Very nice bike, classic style with modern touches and those pink cables!

Can I be so cheeky as to ask you to post a close up of the wheels, particularly the hubs and rims, as I'm currently discussing these options with Ugo myself and it would be a great help.

Thank you all - I'm quite pleased with it! Markjaspi - will do - although I have taken the sticker off the rims, so there ain't a lot to see really - basically black rims, silver spokes and the novatec hubs are black with some red detailing.

Freakin' cool painted floorboard/skirting/wall look - very smart.
This is only a joke by the way, I am in no way implying directly or otherwise that there is any kind of link or similarity between BR and North Korea :)

You wouldn't like it - its not steel!

Have been having great fun in the snow with this - disc brakes work fantastic, no snow clog, Mud 2's work great on snow too.

Quite

excited

Certainly am. I've never even been near the shop! But Seb's brilliant.

Looking at Jagwire cable. Brake housing is 2700mm. I reckon that might not be long enough. Could get some extra run on ebay. Hope to God it matches!
