Thicker handle grips

Postby leonr » Tue Jan 22, 2013 21:40 pm

Does anybody know of any thicker grips?

Currently I have http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=50882.
They are fine for gentle use (road etc), but after taking my bike to the alps for a bit of downhill action I found that I was death gripping them alot, I always felt like I needed more bulky handles to hold on to!

Has anybody else had this? I also got a few blisters and it was killing my hands after a few days (this may be because i'm not used to it though obviously!)

Any recommendations appreciated! Thanks! :D

I can never decide if I need thicker or thinner ones, I just use regular Superstar grips. Superstar also do an extra thick/wide grip, might be worth a try. Cheaper than those ones you bought too.

I had Superstar supagripa but found them to be too thin (plus i also wore them out from hanging on for dear life) I now have some Superstar Excel, and they feel more comfortable, they are quite wide though, not that that makes much difference.
