Postby IrishMac » Sat Feb 09, 2013 19:17 pm

Out of curiosity, do people actually buy these?

Would he have bought them though, or a freebie?

Doubt a freebie. Discounted price however - most likely.

Looks like the sort of thing that pro teams wear at press conferences. Perfect therefore for amateurs that a) probably don't have any podiums to walk onto, and b) are willing to pay to emulate the look of professionals that are given the kit and told to wear it, and very probably wouldn't if it were up to them. Do they come with a bunch of flowers and a mascot for your wife to present to you when you get in the door?

Yeah right. Next thing you'll be saying is that those expensive and ultra scientific post ride recovery drinks are basically just a milk shake...

The only use (apart from anyone with a podium fetish) that I can think of is that they would be great for your Wiggo fancy dress outfit.

That said, if they come down to £30, I'm getting a pair :D

30 quid sounds good for a pair of shoes for working in the garden, will match the sunflowers

They are kind of cool , kind of crap. If they were 30 quid I'd take a punt but at that price there a joke. But let's be honest where would you wear them.
