Question for Genesis Equilibrium Owners

Postby silverpigeon » Mon Mar 11, 2013 15:51 pm

I started building my new frame last week and noticed a small dent on the drive side, rear seat stay, just above the drop outs.

My LBS reckon this may be there out of design to give some some chain clearance but I'm not so sure. So if you have the same frame , could you check yours for me please and let me know whether it's a dent that's meant to be there or not.

Many thanks

Yep, mine has that too. I didn't notice it at first but when I did see it, I thought I'd damaged the frame somehow. In the end, I convinved myself that it was part of the design, so it's good to hear you have it too!

Indeed it is. A very nice man at Genesis has sent my a copy of the technical drawing confirming it is supposed to be there. Cool!
