Sram force 2013 and FSA light crankset

Postby son72 » Tue Mar 19, 2013 18:28 pm

Hope someone can help me out. I'm upgrading my bike from 2007 shimano 105 groupset to sram force 2013 and was thinking would I be better to buy the sram force 2013 crank or buy an fsa light crankset as chain reaction have got some great deals on these reduced from £600 to £200.

Would it firstly be compatible with this groupset?

Secondly would if be a worthwhile to upgrade the crankset to FSA light or not?

Appreciate any help on this

FSA chainset will be fine with the Force chainset. tho, i think the 2013 Force chainset is the same as Sram Red 2011/2012 (i.e. the non Yaw/Exogram versions) so it should be better than SL-K light and probably on par with K-force light. so i don't think it's an upgrade as such.
