Buying a brand new 2011 model in the year 2013

Would it still rival the 2013 version? Or is light years behind considering the advances (if any?) that have been made in mountain biking. Help appreciated.

That cube is looking very nice. Its making me think about not doing my mtb up and just buy all new. Wonder what all that spec would come to if bought separate.

I have SPDs on my road bike and wouldn't be without them. However, I am still cautious about buying some for my trail bike, a bit nervous about not being able to quickly put a foot down. I am new to trails though. :oops:
