Cheapish lightweight helmet cam

Postby Wirral_Paul » Thu Mar 28, 2013 17:46 pm

I know this has probably been covered before but technology changes and i've not seen any new threads in a while..

Any recommendations for a portable video cam that will fit bike / helmet etc??

Try techmoan.com
The guy reviews a number of cameras from go.pro to Chinese made ones. I have contour. I think the Chinese made extremeHD is a better option as it supports record while charging.

The Chinese ones are cheap come with mounts. Some also feature removable battery or standard AA battery. So you can extend the recording time by carrying extra battery.
Road - Cannondale CAAD 8 - 7.8kg
Road - Chinese Carbon Diablo - 6.4kg

Ask in commuting, they tend to be the sort that use them more.
