chain cleaner is same as barbieri (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=33179) so for the price, a real bargain. I find these useful to take on multi-day touring excurtions because its cheap enough to bin it after use rather than work out how to carry the now dirty/oily etc cleaning device in your bags.

Jerseys look interesting and slightly different to the norm.

Spoke reflectors are good - discolour over a winter but hey again they are disposable.

Tool kit is good but I already have one at work as backup.

Thats about all I would fancy from there - so I will save some money as I already have any bits that might interest me!

I was there earlier - its brilliant. That tool kit is ok too - handy to have around. The chain cleamers good too - althouh the small sachets of lube/cleaner are teeny - I use a mixture that contains orange juice.

I'm interested in the chain cleaner. They go for over £20 in Cadence

Shame to see George Lamb working for Lidl now. I thought he was pretty good hosting 'Bank Job'

Spoke reflectors cut down can be good for 2 bikes depending on pattern and spoke count. Will be off to buy 2 packs and for the SS commuter and play with the patterns. Usually some near the hub and others near the rim.

Even with 36 spoke wheels you can make a pack do for both wheels/When the wheel is spinning, 18 reflectors is plenty to have the desired visibility. I can understand though, that if you're making patterns you may want a full pack per wheel as you're reducing the number of reflectors in line with each other.

Picked up some stuff this morning. The two advertised jerseys are nice, but be warned that they only have one small zipped pocket. Big enough for a phone, but that's it. One has a zipped front, the other is a T-shirt with a zipped pocket. I'll use them for commuting in summer when I'm doing 5 miles there and 16 miles back

Had a poke around the other baskets and found a red short sleeve jersey with three large pockets. Happened to be my size, so I went for it. It was £4.99.

Also having a try with the "performance underwear" ie. short legged compression thing. Bought a rucksack, lock and the tool kit, which seems decent enough for £25.

Other than looking for one more decent short sleeve jersey, I'm pretty well sorted now. (for now).

Is the sizing any better than LIDL's stuff?

The jerseys are a bit long in the body as before, but otherwise OK. Don't expect them to be form-fitting though.

Picked up 2 pairs of mitts in contrasting colours so I don't get them mixed up along with 2 sets of spoke reflectors.

How does that work? Detour on the way back? Or one way system which is really long for going back?
