Endura Fs260 bib shorts - size help

Postby ant41 » Sun May 12, 2013 13:37 pm

With apologies to the regular browsers and contributors to this forum for revisiting a topic that has been done to death, but grateful for some sizing advice.

Having decided to move from shorts to bibs (a well overdue move) I have decided on some endura fs260 pros. Trouble is, after trying on both med and large in lbs, I cannot make the decision. Essentially, the meds were fine around the waist and leg but a bit tight on the straps (standing up - I hunched over to try and get an approx riding position but not really the same as having a ride in them). The large were more comfy around the shoulders (again, standing up) but perhaps a bit loose further down, especially around the thigh.

I am 5ft9(1/2!), 32-33 waist, 39-40 shoulders and about 11.5 stone. That puts me in med territory on the bottom half sizing guides, but I would be grateful for some opinions. I see a few regulars have the fs260s.

I would say you are a medium. I don't have those bibs but some of the ones i have are the same. Straps are tight standing up but don't notice when I am on the bike. This is a design feature normally on more expensive bibs. I heard good things about these shorts, meant to be good value for money.

I wear the fs260 pro bibs too and I'm a similar size to you: 5' 10" and 12 stone. My Large fit me fine.
