rotor 3D+ axel length help!!!

Hi hope someone can help me I have a specialized sl4 and bought a rotor 3D + crank off eBay new and when trying to fit it the axle was 79mm not 68mm can you buy replacement axles ??

well a 68mm axle would be useless as it would not be long enough for any BB.

what have you exactly bought? as in a link to it or pictures or.................

what fitting is it to the BB etc?

As far as I can see in the instructions there are two axle lengths so when I fitted mine to the frame there is 5.5 mm of play ether side of the arms with the spacers provided ! If that helps

The SL4 framesets (Tarmac and Roubaix) have a specialized OSBB bottom bracket shell, which takes a BB30 crank in a PF30 bearing. The bearing is supplied with the frame. You can get adaptors to run hollowtech 2 style cranks from wheels manufacturing.

I have the adapters which I was using with my shimano 7900 chain set but decided to go bb30 in my wisdom thought it would be easy just get a bb30 crank but when I read the instructions rotor dose 4 axles two different lengths amd two different widths I have the 79mm axle in length not the 68 mm all I want to know is can you get replacement axles because it is not fixed in one side like a fsa crank ?

Have now found out that the axle is the same length on all the cranks you just put more spacious on hope this is the case !!!
