Independent record shops in your town

Postby welshkev » Thu Oct 17, 2013 10:47 am

Hi Guys and girls,

I've started helping out a small record label and we're looking at doing some pressings of bands on vinyl. Can any of you recommend some record shops in your town that stock vinyl? the bands will be mostly punk/rock.

Cheers :D

Spillers is still going, Kev.
It's in Morgan Arcade now. Not as big as it used to be but still selling vinyl.

Bonecat music in Rochdale, I don't buy my music there but they fixed my amp and have vinyl on the shelves.

There is a great local independent shop near me with an owner who really knows his onions. I always go in intending to get one record and come out with a bag full!
Good record shops are getting rare now unfortunately.
