Very nice.

Are the wheels really sub 1200g? Wow. How much does the complete bike weigh?

Thanks guys :)

Disco, didn't weigh the wheels before I put them on but haven't glued the tubs yet so when I get a chance I'll pop them on the scales.

Same for whole bike - will need to get a hanging scale to do that - but I'm not too bothered about exact weight - although it does feel ridiculously light. However, I want it to feel solid - my old F5 was just the right balance in the Alps this year between light and sharp but confidence inspiring flying downhill at 45mph :) (I wont be using carbon wheels in the Alps though).

Looks very mean, I like it.

I didn't know Felt does custom? Was it much extra?

FransJacques, thanks for the nice comment :)

It's custom in that I bought the frameset and then spec'd all the parts myself - I'm very picky ;)

Just hoping she goes as well as she looks!

fatboyonabike: won't be riding the bike until end of March but I'll be back on with my impression of the bike and wheels.
Got a new pair of Zonda wheels as well so will be able to make a direct comparison with the carbon Wheeelsmith ones on the same bike hopefully :)

Really love this. Frame is meant to be epic too.

Bet it's hard to sit and look at it for the next few weeks....

Very nice indeed, well thought about.

I wanted those tyres for my summer bike but i can get close to the 70kg weight limit on them.

They should be, yes... carbon tubs like those will be just over 300 grams each

Second that. It's kinda sweet when the legs are good and you're going up a fairly long hill riding sub-1200g wheels.

The pair that Paolo built up for me had a fair few miles on the road last summer. Perhaps something of a novelty though.

So Munzy, how are those wheels compared to the zondas? Thinking of ordering a pair too.

Tidy! You could drop a few more grams by not wrapping your bars so tightly!
