Brian Lopes nominated for Mountain Bike Hall of Fame

Multiple dirt world champ now with Ibis

Multiple world dirt champion Brian Lopes has been nominated for induction to the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame in Crested Butte, Colorado.

Nominees are divided into six categories; advocacy, industry, journalism, pioneers, promotion and racing history. The Ibis-sponsored reigning 4X champ was nominated in the "Racing History" category. If inducted he will join the ranks of Hans Rey, Alison Syder, Tinker Juarez and Thomas Frischnecht.

The voting is done by past inductees and current MTB Hall of Fame members who will receive ballots in June to make the final vote on the nominees.
