Cycle '08: Kinesis goes long and comfortable

The new Kinesis KR510 is a mid-range aluminium race frame.

  • The Kinesis Gran Fondo is made from flared and butted Easton GX2 scandium tubing.
  • The Gran Fondo's stays are designed to fit mudguards and a rack but still be race ready.
  • The Gran Fondo's head tube is long to give the frame a comfortable long distance riding position.
  • The new Kinesis KR510 is a mid-range aluminium race frame.
  • The KR510's aluminium main tubes are shaped using the company's new SPF method.
  • Despite being mostly aluminium the new KR510 has carbon seat stays in common with many others.
  • The Kinesis KR210 is a new women's-specific road racing frame complete with appropriate geometry and feminine graphics.
  • The Kinesis XC210 is the company's new women's mountain bike frame and has a similarly subtle feminine appearance to its road counterpart.
