And the winners were:

Niner Bikes for the Air 9 RDO mountain bike.

Thaler Sports for the Protective city riding shoes

Scott Sports for the Scott AMT jersey and shorts

PEdALED HIDE & MC for the Urban Jacket

KTM for the eShopper carrier bike with Bosch motor

Tout Terrain Fahrräder & Ausrüstung for the Silkroad Xplore travel bike

Cannondale for the SuperSix EVO black racing bike

Magura for the RT8TT hydraulic racing bike brake system

“The entries reflected the wide diversity in the bicycle industry. Many clever, but also sometimes ‘crazy’ ideas – a good overall picture,” said Felix Böhlken, editor of Germany’s RoadBIKE magazine. “There was everything from high-tech solutions to charming ideas that were implemented with the use of few materials but lots of passion. Many of the products entered came from wonderful enthusiasts. How disappointing that there were no products at all that focused specifically on the aspects of sustainability and environmental friendliness. This is a sector in which we expect the bicycle industry to be an innovator!”
